Martin Wiedmann, Associate Professor in the Department of Food Science at Cornell University, will be presenting a talk entitled "Molecular studies on the transmission of the foodborne pathogen Listeria monocytogenes: from environmental persistence to human outbreaks" on Wednesday, March 3rd at 4 pm in room 1135 S. Anthony Hall, Michigan State University. Dr. Wiedmann is an internationally renowned authority on Listeria monocytogenes. He serves as co-coordinator of the Cornell Food and Water Safety Program, and he participates in the Infection and Pathobiology Program and the Cornell Genomics Initiative.
