Michigan is an important producer and exporter of agricultural products and machinery. From 2006 to 2009, Michigan agricultural products exports’ average growth is 29%. Measured as exports divided by farm cash receipts, the State’s reliance on agricultural exports is around 20%. World demand for our agricultural products is increasing, but so is competition among suppliers. This program will provide tools and resources for companies tapping into foreign markets.
