Enroll now to transfer 12 IFLR credits to the Master Degree in Global Food Law

This is the last semester when up to 12 credits earned in IFLR courses may transfer towards a Global Food Law master degree. Those enrolling in the masters' program after January 1, 2015, will only be able to transfer 9 credits from IFLR (making it consistent with other graduate program policies at MSU).

The spring semester application deadline is December 1, 2014. Classes begin January 12, 2015.

  • Administrative Law: Food Safety and Labeling
  • Codex Alimentarius
  • Food Regulation in the U.S.
  • International Food Laws and Regulations
  • Regulation of Agricultural Production and Marketing
  • Food Regulations in Canada
  • Food Regulations in the European Union
A Master of Laws (LL.M.) is available for students who have earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.)  A Master of Jurisprudence (M.J.) is availalble for those who do not have a law degree, such as doctoral students in other disciplines, policymakers, government officials, business executives, scientists, and other professionals.
